Noteworthy #1

Happy Friday!!

Every Friday, I’m hoping to consistently share with you the posts, blogs, and videos I saw throughout the week that were, as this post title suggests, noteworthy.  Either they inspired me, I tried or plan to try a recipe I saw, I thought someone had good advice, or I just liked it for one reason or another.  I enjoy looking at posts like these on other blogs, so I thought I’d give it a try.

Some Inspiration

I’ve been thinking about this post from Project Inso by the founder, Jinna Yang, all week.  Her words were so inspiring to me because so many of the lines hit home for me.  She talks about how she turned her hobby (photography) into her full-time career.  It’s definitely worth a read – to be honest, I teared up while reading it.

Career Tips

These 12 career tips are from one of the first blogs I started keeping up with, A Cup of Jo.  This post stood out to me because it’s actually a collection of reader comments about career advice, so it was voluntary advice from a variety of people.

Cover Letter Help

I love setting up and editing resumes, but writing a cover letter has always been a struggle for me.  Thankfully, I found a great post by College With Caitlyn that discusses what to write and where to write it, as well as some little details that I probably wouldn’t have thought of.  There’s also a cover letter template at the end of the post!

Kacey Musgraves’ Dining Room Tour!

This post by A Beautiful Mess was so cool to read!  I was obsessed with Kacey Musgraves’ album Same Trailer Different Park back when it came out (four years ago now? How?!), and I absolutely love home decor, so the combination of the two was perfect.

Blogging Advice

As most of you probably have figured out, I’m very new to blogging – my posts just started going live at the beginning of October.  I found these five tips on starting a blog by The Chriselle Factor and immediately started thinking about my blog in a different way.  Even if you aren’t new to blogging like I am, it’s worth looking through!

That’s all for today, and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  If there are any noteworthy posts that you want to share, link them in the comments below.  I’d love to read them!
