And we’re (almost) back to the weekend!! Can you believe there’s only one more weekend left in October? Crazy.
This week’s Noteworthy links are a little different from last week! Instead of being post oriented, I have a little bit of everything. I hope you find them interesting! Also, here’s a photo I took yesterday that I thought was hilarious.
1. On a personal note
My cousin was in a promo video! A few days ago, my dad sent me the link and said something like, “Look at Emily!”. When I realized it was a video made by the place she works for as an in-house artist, I figured it would just have a small snippet of her or something. Turns out, she was the voice behind the entire video! She did a great job and the shop is really cute – if you’re in Northeastern Ohio, I would recommend stopping by!
2. Weekly inspiration
Read about this Inspiring Girl Boss, Kat. I recently discovered the blog The Sophisticated Gal, and I love her series! It’s a similar idea to what I’m hoping to achieve through College Candids, and you should definitely check out a few of them if you’re feeling unmotivated.
3. Sneak peak at the next College Candid
This is probably the Noteworthy tip I’m most excited to share! The other day, I received an Instagram message from Tom, a Marketing student at Hofstra University. He asked if I would be interested in hearing about his college experience, and it made my day! Later, he told me that the idea inspired him to bring his GoPro to class and document a day in his life at Hofstra. It is so cool! You can watch it here. His College Candid will be on the blog Sunday morning, so come back and check it out!
4. Some super cute pants
In this post, Rach DiMare talks about the importance of sun protection, even when it doesn’t seem necessary due to cooler temperatures. I’m going to try and incorporate Rach’s tips into my daily life, but also I wanted to share the post because I thought her pants were amazing – especially with the contrasting shoe color! You can read more of her fashion, healthy and beauty tips on her blog. I love reading her posts!
5. Taylor Swift’s new song, Gorgeous
I’ll be the first to admit I will probably defend Taylor Swift on my death bed because her album Red is, to this day, probably the most played album on my phone. While I’m a little skeptical of her new album (honestly, who isn’t?), her new song is worth at least a listen. Rumor has it, it’s about Tom Hiddleston!
That’s all for this week’s Noteworthy links! I hope you all have a fantastic weekend, and don’t forget to check back on Sunday to hear about Tom’s college experience! I can’t wait to share it with you all!
